[9/29, 8:58 PM] New Technical Director ABS: I followed him close to 5year to under study him, I proceeded to coach a club owned by Emmanuel Babayaro in Kaduna 2006 called Pioneers fc and from there I started my own club called Samber fc in Kaduna from 2006 to 2007, coached Eco football club from 2008 to 2009 in Lagos but had to move to England early 2010 where I had my coaching badges and came back to ABS in 2013 where I did my  I T under coach Dogo after which I became the head coach 2013 to 2014 before I moved to Kogi united in 2015 and spent only 7 monrhs when I resigned as the head coach because I want to build a project in Abuja
[9/29, 9:00 PM] Jibril: Wow ..... fantastic...
[9/29, 9:01 PM] New Technical Director ABS: I was in Kogi united in 2015 after leaving ABS cos the then chairman Malam Abdul Adama wants me seriously then because of our performance in ABS
[9/29, 9:02 PM] Jibril: Wow.....

After kogi united what have u been doing sir ?
[9/29, 9:03 PM] New Technical Director ABS: When I left Kogi, I went to Abuja to follow my passion in school sports because I saw great opportunity to develop kids in different games and since 2015 I have been doing the school program till my coming back to ABS now
[9/29, 9:03 PM] Coach RhemA: 👍👍
[9/29, 9:04 PM] Jibril: You are welcome sir ...
[9/29, 9:04 PM] Jibril: Coach
Can you please tell us about your experience in abroad.....compare with Nigeria ideology of coaching???
[9/29, 9:04 PM] Imam Coach: Great👍
[9/29, 9:05 PM] New Technical Director ABS: Hmm
[9/29, 9:08 PM] New Technical Director ABS: In England , London precisely where I had my coaching experience with different age grade, coach was made easy especially in the technical aspect and psychological. Players have good or let me say better environment that here to train and facilities are available to suit your demand for the training
[9/29, 9:09 PM] New Technical Director ABS: I coached under 5 to under 20 in London in different areas
[9/29, 9:10 PM] New Technical Director ABS: The material and coaching tools are easily accessible
[9/29, 9:10 PM] Coach Danny K Lagos: Wow that is great.
[9/29, 9:10 PM] Jibril: Do you believe our ideology can change here.......????

Or we still need the white man to do that for us......

For example, real Madrid in River State.... Barcelona in Lagos......

Why can't we achieve this alone....or it is not possible????
[9/29, 9:12 PM] New Technical Director ABS: Well its an effort to get such great clubs starting a youth program in football in our country
[9/29, 9:12 PM] Jibril: Great place to start....
[9/29, 9:12 PM] New Technical Director ABS: I think they can help but we coaches in the country must be ready to upgrade to the Trent and new coaching techniques
[9/29, 9:14 PM] New Technical Director ABS: We have to also start coaching kids from 4 years the fundamentals of the game because there is a lot they need to do before they become an academy players, like the ABC's needs to be leant
[9/29, 9:15 PM] New Technical Director ABS: I have been coaching lime 5 years before I went to England
[9/29, 9:15 PM] +234 808 457 0413: I love that is good bravo
[9/29, 9:16 PM] Jibril: That is cool.....
[9/29, 9:16 PM] Coach RhemA: More question;
Why is that Nigerians sports ministry believe so much in papers ?

Is the same thing over there in abroad ?
[9/29, 9:16 PM] New Technical Director ABS: One shocking thing I observed was the wrong methodology we use in training young ones but I thank God I went there to know show to coach different age grades
[9/29, 9:17 PM] New Technical Director ABS: We can if we study closely how to coach as in the methodology of coaching
[9/29, 9:17 PM] Jibril: Wrong methodology??? Can you pls share that with us sir ... So that we coaches can as well learn from you sir
[9/29, 9:20 PM] Jibril: Still waiting sir....
[9/29, 9:20 PM] New Technical Director ABS: Nigeria is still growing really, you can see the just concluded National youth sport, most of the schools doesn't have facility to train this student but the brought them for such a glamorous event, how did they train them and how many have  a proper coaching, only those that the state coaches are able to coach
[9/29, 9:23 PM] New Technical Director ABS: Like I discovered that the most common method of coaching is command style and which does not help the players to think and be more creative
[9/29, 9:23 PM] New Technical Director ABS: There are different types of methods of coaching
[9/29, 9:25 PM] +234 808 457 0413: Ok sir tell us we listing
[9/29, 9:27 PM] Jibril: Alright sir .....it will be an honour to learn from you my great coach
[9/29, 9:28 PM] New Technical Director ABS: Command style, Guided discovery,  Question and total etc. Unless you want to pay for lectures lol

[9/29, 9:30 PM] Jibril: Others in the same category......why ABS case is different????
[9/29, 9:31 PM] New Technical Director ABS: The issue is simple but delicate

[6/23, 9:22 PM] Jibril: Another question sir

As part of coaching crew at Kwara United Sir

What do you think is our main problem in this state...... The two great clubs are both relegated now...
[6/23, 9:23 PM] Coach Philip: I attended bishop Smith primary school, ilorin,

Bishop Smith memorial college,ilorn, you

College of education Ilorin,

Kwara state polytechnic,ilorin

PG school,Mba,ilorin.
[6/23, 9:26 PM] Jibril: Wow....
[6/23, 9:26 PM] Hard Rock Coach: That is great
[6/23, 9:27 PM] Coach Philip: Honestly, kwara state need over hauling in sport but to our area of concentration football,(Management issue)neede to looked up on and bring in people that really know about football management
[6/23, 9:28 PM] Coach Philip: ... honestly not everything can be share on this platform but at least let start from management first
[6/23, 9:28 PM] Jibril: Alright sir
[6/23, 9:29 PM] Coach Philip: ...we have good coaches in Kwara
[6/23, 9:29 PM] Coach Philip: But the are there wasting
[6/23, 9:30 PM] Hard Rock Coach: I sincerely agree to that but what about financial aspect
[6/23, 9:31 PM] Coach Philip: Kwara can engage them with little amount they will be given to them
[6/23, 9:31 PM] Coach Philip: In scouting, grassroots trainners etc
[6/23, 9:32 PM] Coach Philip: ...for the state.
[6/23, 9:33 PM] Jibril: Thanks.... Sir
[6/23, 9:33 PM] Hard Rock Coach: Well it's a good idea then we should value our grass roots players
[6/23, 9:33 PM] Coach Philip: Kwara united is not having finance problem compare to some state I know in the country where those team are performing better
[6/23, 9:35 PM] Coach Philip: I meet with some of them in a course recently... honestly Kwara is trying in the area of finance to the state teams
[6/23, 9:35 PM] Coach Philip: ...my opinion
[6/23, 9:36 PM] Jibril: That is good Sir
[6/23, 9:36 PM] Jibril: You have done well
[6/23, 9:38 PM] Coach Philip: The present coaches (united)crew are good but you cannot build Good house on a very poor foundation
[6/23, 9:38 PM] Jibril: On grassroot sir
In what way..... Can a grass root promote their best players.....when most of great coaches believe .....you must have experience before put money on you....as a raw player
[6/23, 9:39 PM] Coach Philip: When a house is faulty what can a righteous do?
[6/23, 9:40 PM] Hard Rock Coach: That is main problem we have in Nigeria those experience players started from grass roots
[6/23, 9:41 PM] Jibril: I mean top clubs
[6/23, 9:41 PM] Hard Rock Coach: Inexperience today may be great tomorrow
[6/23, 9:41 PM] Coach Philip: See sirs this will take long process to tacking this unless we go back to the bases of developmental approach to football
[6/23, 9:42 PM] Coach Philip: You see the problem is from player ,coach and football administrator s
[6/23, 9:43 PM] Jibril: Ok
[6/23, 9:43 PM] Coach Philip: It is only in Nigeria that we open grassroots soccer to performance level
[6/23, 9:44 PM] Jibril: Ok
[6/23, 9:45 PM] Hard Rock Coach: What we need to do is to go back to our drawing board
[6/23, 9:46 PM] Coach Philip: We have :
*Discovery level
*Training potential
*Performance level
*Elite level
But in Nigerian we mix it up because everyone want money quick
[6/23, 9:47 PM] Hard Rock Coach: Very correct
[6/23, 9:47 PM] Coach Philip: Yes
[6/23, 9:48 PM] Coach Philip: Let me tell you, some coaches do even know how to discover player not to talk of identity when he reaches performance level
[6/23, 9:49 PM] Hard Rock Coach: It's pure truth
[6/23, 9:49 PM] Jibril: about ..... Nigeria team as whole ....... U-16
Golden eaglet ......falcon
All failed the country.....

What is the chance of our super eagle in the current Africa cup of nation sir...
[6/23, 9:49 PM] Coach Philip: Every player is at performance level in Nigeria ...even the one that just enter Field today
[6/23, 9:49 PM] Hard Rock Coach: How many genuine coaches do have on board
[6/23, 9:50 PM] Jibril: What do you mean sir.....
[6/23, 9:51 PM] Jibril: Players of those days play with heart..... But our current players play for money......

Is that what you think about the current situation of the country.....
[6/23, 9:51 PM] Coach Philip: Nigeria have better chances to win with this present young guys in camp,i think we can go farther
[6/23, 9:53 PM] Coach Philip: Coaches need to l to be ready to teacher fundamental basic football in other to have grass roots doing well
[6/23, 9:54 PM] Coach Philip: ..no more fundamental rudiments in football again in Nigeria
[6/23, 9:55 PM] Coach Philip: Yes,but it is as a result of the information passing to them by Coaches, parent, administrators etc
[6/23, 9:56 PM] Coach Philip: And that is why they Can not perform
[6/23, 9:58 PM] Coach Philip: Sirs, football is a Career but at the same time football must be loved,
[6/23, 9:58 PM] Jibril: You are right
[6/23, 9:59 PM] Coach Philip: It is the money bin football some players like in Nigeria not game itself
[6/23, 10:00 PM] Coach Philip: So orientation need to start from academy, coaches
[6/23, 10:00 PM] Imam Coach: Nice one coach Philip its all observing
[6/23, 10:00 PM] Imam Coach: Confirm
[6/23, 10:01 PM] Coach Philip: Give moral talk on passion, value,
[6/23, 10:01 PM] Jibril: You are right
[6/23, 10:02 PM] Coach Philip: ...norms
Let them first love football
[6/23, 10:02 PM] Coach Philip: Not getting them out of focus
[6/23, 10:03 PM] Jibril: Captain ...... director, AIRFORCE team, coach zakari is greeting sir....
[6/23, 10:03 PM] Jibril: That is perfect sir
[6/23, 10:03 PM] Jibril: Next question

.
Congratulations for a successful coaching course sir

My question is: what has the training change in you ...and your aspirations???
[6/23, 10:03 PM] Coach Philip: Teach focus, concentration on their games
[6/23, 10:03 PM] Coach Philip: I know what am talking about
[6/23, 10:04 PM] Coach Philip: I was in about 2 academy out side the country some days ago,i was dazed with what I saw
[6/23, 10:05 PM] Coach Philip: Different things entirely from What we are running in Nigeria
[6/23, 10:05 PM] Jibril: Share the experience Sir
[6/23, 10:06 PM] Coach Philip: Eni tio ba de Oko baba elomi, ani Oko baba ohun lotobi ju
[6/23, 10:07 PM] Coach Philip: The course open my eyes to some new dimension of playing football both from Europe to America and Africa
[6/23, 10:08 PM] Coach Philip: More insight of well deserved knowledge was thought in the course
[6/23, 10:09 PM] Jibril: Share little with us Sir
[6/23, 10:09 PM] Coach Philip: ...in both practical  and theoretical
[6/23, 10:10 PM] Coach Philip: Tactical and technical formations and approach towards matches
[6/23, 10:11 PM] Coach Philip: Formation build up with departmental flow of the game
[6/23, 10:14 PM] Coach Philip: Training schedules pattern with in playing level
[6/23, 10:15 PM] Coach Philip: Eg, I got to know that training everyday is a risk with players
[6/23, 10:15 PM] Jibril: Ok
[6/23, 10:17 PM] Coach Philip: ...proven with a professor of sport from ui
[6/23, 10:17 PM] Coach Philip: Numbers of hours of training per pre match, post match, and off season game training
[6/23, 10:18 PM] Coach Philip: Anatomy of sport ,how to take care of players at first aid level...known to me before but not adequate like this

[6/23, 10:22 PM] Jibril: Solution to all the problems discussed today sir
[6/23, 10:22 PM] Coach Philip: Let Kwara state engage some coaches in Kwara state, many are in stadium there doing nothing..
.let the ministry, council, hire them to scout for professional club s in the state
[6/23, 10:23 PM] Jibril: Coaches of the academy

Kwara United
And
ABS sir
Finally training ...with your experience in other countries sir
[6/23, 10:23 PM] Coach Philip: ....not to place them on salary but their will he be a contract agreement between them and state
[6/23, 10:24 PM] Coach Philip: This is what is obtainable outside the country
[6/23, 10:26 PM] Coach Philip: There is a way to that agreement that they may not even be eyeing state teams and boys will be coming in from every local governments
[6/23, 10:27 PM] Coach Philip: ... Also let there be right men at the management level
[6/23, 10:29 PM] Coach Philip: ...or privatise football academy in the local governments in the state for a period of time for individual person
