[3/25, 5:20 PM] Usman: We will bring back our great journalist and Doctor to this podium......

It all about CORONA VIRUS
Time:8:30pm
TONIGHT
[3/25, 8:31 PM] Usman: Hello Doctor
[3/25, 8:31 PM] Dr Obaro: Hi
[3/25, 8:32 PM] Usman: You are welcome to our program tonight sir
[3/25, 8:32 PM] Dr Obaro: Thanks a lot
[3/25, 8:33 PM] Usman: This is our great doctor .... Obaro.....and father and great mentor with us tonight

Pls introduce yourself sir
[3/25, 8:36 PM] Dr Obaro: I already introduced myself on this platform, but for the benefit of those who are new here like me, my name is simply Kehinde Oseni Obaro
[3/25, 8:37 PM] Usman: Thanks for that sacrifice sir.... I just want our players and staff to know the qualifications of our guest sir
[3/25, 8:37 PM] Usman: Thanks once again
[3/25, 8:37 PM] Usman: Let go straight to the program sir....
[3/25, 8:38 PM] Dr Obaro: Ok
[3/25, 8:39 PM] Usman: Sir, the whole world are in trouble over the outbreak of the virus called CORONA VIRUS sir.... What can you say about the  virus sir
[3/25, 8:41 PM] Dr Obaro: Corona Virus Disease or covid-19 is an infectious viral disease that affects the respiratory system
[3/25, 8:42 PM] Dr Obaro: Corona literarily means crown
[3/25, 8:42 PM] Dr Obaro: It was named so because the virus actually looks like a crown
[3/25, 8:43 PM] Usman: Ok sir
[3/25, 8:44 PM] Dr Obaro: Like I said earlier, corona virus disease affects the respiratory system
[3/25, 8:47 PM] Dr Obaro: Some of it signs and symptoms includes: dry cough and slight running nose
[3/25, 8:47 PM] Dr Obaro: Fever, difficulty in breathing, and general body weakness are also part if the symptoms
[3/25, 8:48 PM] Dr Obaro: The scary thing about corona virus disease is that is no drug for it yet
[3/25, 8:49 PM] Usman: Ok
[3/25, 8:49 PM] Usman: Ah
[3/25, 8:50 PM] Usman: Then.... what are the drug using currently to cured those affected both here in Nigeria and Europe......
[3/25, 8:50 PM] Usman: ????
[3/25, 8:54 PM] Dr Obaro: Because corona virus disease has so much similarities with pneumonia, drugs used to treat pneumonia have largely been in use to merely suppress the symptoms on the victims or patients infected by corona virus
[3/25, 8:56 PM] Dr Obaro: Although chloroquin has been approved for ONLY clinical trials, it hasn't really been proven that it has the potency to really cure or suppress the symptoms of the virus disease
[3/25, 8:57 PM] Usman: Ahahahah this is really serious
[3/25, 8:58 PM] Dr Obaro: Yes, it is
[3/25, 8:58 PM] Usman: How does the virus transfer from one body to another body ????
[3/25, 9:00 PM] Dr Obaro: There have been lots of misconceptions and misinformation about how d virus gets transferred from person to person
[3/25, 9:01 PM] Usman: Real??
[3/25, 9:02 PM] Dr Obaro: The fact I must establish here is that the only way a person can get infected or contact corona virus disease is when the fluid of an infected person gets into one's body either through the eyes, nose or mouth
[3/25, 9:03 PM] Usman: Ookk
[3/25, 9:04 PM] Dr Obaro: Corona virus can not be contacted through merely shaking of hands or body contact, except the person carelessly puts the hand in his mouth, eyes or nose without washing
[3/25, 9:05 PM] Dr Obaro: This is the reason why the public have been advised to make washing of hands a regular habit
[3/25, 9:06 PM] Usman: May God bless you Doctor ..... Great information....
[3/25, 9:08 PM] Dr Obaro: Physical contacts like sneezing or splashing of saliva from the mouth by talking or singing and blowing of the nose by an infected person can easily transfer the virus to another person who is very close
[3/25, 9:09 PM] Usman: Who is very close......?? How sir
[3/25, 9:10 PM] Usman: Since it wont touch my nose...eyes and mouth
[3/25, 9:11 PM] Dr Obaro: Regular washing of hands with soaps after shaking hands, using public toilet, using public doors, using public vehicles or taxi, and even after closing from the office can prevent a person from contacting the virus by more than 80 percent
[3/25, 9:16 PM] Dr Obaro: That is why social distancing have been strongly advised, if one stands too close to a sneezing person or someone who is blowing his nose, speaking or singing. There is a high chance of the fluid getting into either your eyes, nose or even mouth
[3/25, 9:16 PM] Dr Obaro: So, together with washing of the hands frequently, it is also best to always keep a distance by avoiding social gatherings and unnecessary partying
[3/25, 9:17 PM] Usman: Ok sir
[3/25, 9:18 PM] Usman: Do you think our government are getting it right for all the measurements put in place to tackle this virus???
[3/25, 9:18 PM] Dr Obaro: Yes, indeed
[3/25, 9:20 PM] Dr Obaro: Even though the government displayed laxity in the beginning, the measures being put in place will go a very long way to preventing the spread of the virus
[3/25, 9:22 PM] Dr Obaro: Just that palliative measures like emergency provision of food stuff and payment of salaries to shld follow promptly to cub and reduce the effect on the public
[3/25, 9:24 PM] Dr Obaro: Hand sanitizers and face masks shld be distributed free of charge to the public by the government as this will also help to prevent the spread
[3/25, 9:25 PM] Usman: Alright sir.....
[3/25, 9:25 PM] Usman: Please doctor ....are you aware of this ???
The China has bank of viruses and have kept over 1500 viruses
[3/25, 9:29 PM] Dr Obaro: Not only China, even countries like USA and Russia has more
[3/25, 9:30 PM] Dr Obaro: The main purpose for that is for research and biochemical advancement
[3/25, 9:30 PM] Usman: Ok doctor.....
[3/25, 9:32 PM] Usman: Do you think, the decision made by our governor to control this deases is right..... What have we put in place to fight it....
[3/25, 9:36 PM] Usman: Lastly
Your advice to the players of our academy and management doctor
[3/25, 9:39 PM] Dr Obaro: Kwara state already has a quarantine center in Sobi hospital were anyone who tests positive to the virus will be admitted and treated. That is a step in a right direction
[3/25, 9:41 PM] Dr Obaro: Players and the general public should frequently wash their hands with soaps or sanitizers at least every one hour
[3/25, 9:42 PM] Dr Obaro: They should avoid shaking hands as much as possible and make sure they wash their hands with soaps if they mistakenly shake hands
[3/25, 9:44 PM] Dr Obaro: They should keep a social distance and avoid close contacts with even their friends and family members so that fluids from sneezing, nose blowing and saliva won't get to them.
[3/25, 9:44 PM] Usman: May God bless you always doctor
[3/25, 9:45 PM] Dr Obaro: Amen🙏
[3/25, 9:46 PM] Usman: You have done a great job here tonight...and we have clear picture of what coronal virus is all about.... May God bless you once again
[3/25, 9:46 PM] Usman: Any questions for our guests....from the group .... Just two questions pls
[3/25, 9:49 PM] Usman: Al Hazim and durosilohun....ask your questions
